The Anambra State Governor-elect, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has been warned to be warry of sycophants and bootlickers who are capable of derailing his Government.
The General Overseer, Bible Base Miracle Assembly, Onitsha, Rev. Jerry Nwachukwu, who gave this warning during an interaction with newsmen in his office, also advised the former Central Bank of NIgeria (CAN) Governor to avoid preoccupying himself with Second term agenda, saying that it has ruined a lot of political leaders especially Governors.

He said many who held executives position were so much obsessed with second term agenda that they could not perform and when the time came they had nothing to show the electorate.

He said that at the early stage of Soludo’s administration, he might have problem because of his style of leadership which would definitely differ with that of his predecessor, Chief Willie Obiano but he would overcome it eventually.

He also warned that if he allowed the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) wolves, they will swallow him and his government, hence the need to checkmate their excesses.

The man of God then asked Soludo that the first thing he should do immediately he is sworn into office was to make his government popular and acceptable to the people by restructurubg the revenue collection in the State.

He also advised him to focus on road rehabilitation and reconstruction by going back to those abandoned road projects in the state which can improve the lives of the people of the State.

He said Prof. Soludo should liberate Onitsha from terrible gridlock by opening up 3-3 and linking it up with Awka road and other strategic roads in other parts of Onitsha and environs.
Rev. Nwachukwu said other critical roads in various parts of the state should equally be tackled to allow ease movement of persons and goods, which will engender seamless economic activities.

He also warned that Soludo should not allow the hoodlums who helped him during the election in November 2021 to take over the government, saying that they should be compensated but not to take over the running of government.
Pastor Nwachukwu said those who will survive in 2022 were those who have link with divinity because there would be harsher economy but only those who have link with God will survive.
He said the Federal Government would Introduce stiffer taxes and deregulate petroleum products which will shoot up the price of fuel, saying that labour movement has been weakened so they can’t achieve anything.
” Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress are toothless bulldogs. If they engage in protest, Federal Government will arrange counter- protest. It is the ordinary man who will suffer. There is no revolution in sight. Who will protest? Igbos want freedom, Yorubas want presidency. Who will protest?,” he said.
Adding, “But in the midst of this confusion God will raise nobodies in 2022, while giants will fall. Many will go down but those who have robost relationship with God would be lifted” he predicted.
On Nnamdi Kanu, the cleric warned Nigerian leadership to address it amicably and assuage the feelings of his massive followers.
if not, he said, it will generate tension that will affect the economic and political situation of the country.
